Sage BlackOwl has spent more than twelve years in California courtrooms — as a trial attorney handling family law, criminal defense, and juvenile matters from intake through trial, and as a Judicial Resources and Technical Assistance (JRTA) attorney at the Judicial Council of California’s Center for Families, Children & the Courts, where she advised judicial officers statewide on family and juvenile law.
She has served as court-appointed counsel for parents and children, taught trial advocacy to high school students, and served as a county Juvenile Justice Commissioner. She knows how judges think — because training them was part of her job.
"She was very well prepared, took care of everything, and made me feel at ease with everything that was going on."
